What children desire most from their parents is; LOVE, regardless of their age.

To children Love spells: TIME, not just Time, but quality Time. Love is shown to children, not only by the things you give them, but by the time that you spend with them. 

In our years of experience parenting our own children and as foster parents to many other children, we have learned what children really need.

We would like to share some helpful Wisdom Keys, on how to spend quality time with your children, and develop a Great Family Relationship with them.

• Have family dinner together.
• Talk with your children about their day, (if they are not with you during the day).
• Have family night at least once a week; watch a movie together, or go out for dinner, etc.
• Have bible study time with your children.
• Celebrate special days with your children; Christmas, Thanksgiving, Birthdays, Valentine's Day. Yes, Valentine’s Day, it’s a very special time to show them love.
• Have mother-daughter talks or father-son talks, or have parent-children talks, learn how to effectively communicate with your children.
• Help your children with home-work when possible, and always speak words to build them up and encourage them.
• Occasionally, surprise your children with special treats, etc.
• A ministry of "presence" speaks volumes to children. Just to know you are there brings safety and security to them.
• Family exercise activities are also a great way to spend time together; walking, bike riding, playing games, etc.
• Take family vacations together. 
• Attending worship services together will always build a great family relationship.

Quality time; spent with your children is one of the most powerful tools you can use, to help shape their lives.
